January Meeting - BURP/Wort Hogs Club Challenge
"Anything Imperial" Competition

- The first meeting of the new year will be a combined meeting with our friends the Wort Hogs from Herndon, VA. This will be an "Imperial" beer competition, officially for BJCP categories 12C (Baltic Porter), 13F (Russian Imperial Stout) and 14C (Imperial IPA), but variability within these styles (Smoked Baltic Porter? Cherry Imperial Stout?) and "imperial" versions of other beer styles (Imperial Kolsch?) will be acceptable as long as the entrant declares his or her intentions at the time of entry.
- Since most BURP meetings are held in the private homes of BURP members, it is our policy not to publish the addresses of meetings here on brew.burp.org.
- Need Directions? Become a member and they are available online. Directions will also be printed on the back of the next BURP Newsletter. If you are already a BURP member, consider joining BURPlist - BURP's e-mail based discussion group. Directions are made available to all list subscribers.
